Dominick McDuffie (b.1993, Pittsburgh PA) is an contemporary photographer and artist currently based in Brooklyn, NY. As a self-taught photographer, his photography is rooted in community, cultural preservation and authentically documenting Black spaces, as well as the people in and around them. Dominick has exhibited with 38A Gallery, August Wilson House, Point Park Playhouse and Saint Vincent’s Verostko Center within his career. Dominick is also a recipient of the 2023 Silver Eye Keystone Award, this honor is given to an exceptional photographer living or making work within the state of Pennsylvania. Dominick has a desire to pass on his knowledge and passion for photography as he has incorporated teaching in his practice as a resident teaching artist with ACH Clear Pathways in Pittsburgh and currently with LEAP in Brooklyn. In his new chapter in New York, Dominick is continuing to grow and experiment with his image making.

Dominick also uses his creativity within event curation and DJing. Dominick is the one of the members of Oasis and founder of Curfew. Both outfits emphasize providing safe, creative and inclusive dance parties. Dominick DJ sets could be found under the Mixes tab.
